Kai and Timmy - FOR SALE

2 New Forest X colt foals ready to be weaned. Well handled using practical horsemanship methods. Would prefer to sell as a pair but would sell them separately. I originally rescued these and therefore do not no much about their breeding. Dams can be seen and are 12.2hh.

Fern - FOR LOAN as Broodmare, Light hack or Companion.

16hh, TBx, 9 year old, Dark Bay mare. Has done light competition work but retired from competing last year due to an injury. Fern was put in foal in 2006 and had a stunning colt at the beginning of June this year. She would be ideal for someone looking for a broodmare or light hack (light weight rider); she is good to hack out alone and in company. Good to shoe, box and clip.

She has been worked by Dan Wilson, Practical Horsemanship, as Fern doesn’t trust many people and wasn’t very well handled when I first brought her. I found that join up helped Fern and after 3 or 4 sessions with Dan she was improving and we were making progress together and she started to trust me. I would prefer ‘Intelligent Horsemanship’ type home, as I would like people to understand Fern as she sometimes she can be a real sweetie and other days she might be difficult to catch or grumpy and a bit temperamental.

Dan is willing to be contacted about Fern. Fern loves being in a routine and like to know where she is, she is very much a one person horse and just wants a experienced, loving and understanding home.

Finn

Finn is a beautiful ¾ TB x ID, 6 year old 16h, chestnut gelding. He’s a really laid back character and is easy to handle, having been trained with IH principles in mind. He is good to shoe and comes to the gate to be easily caught. He loads into a trailer without fuss, from behind, and gets on well with other horses. Finn is good with traffic on our local lanes, having met and been unfazed by lorries, tractors and motorbikes as well as cars, and seems to be a non spooky sort of horse. Although he is quite ‘green’ as has only done some light hacking and a little school work. Finn has excellent correct conformation with straight elevated paces, and lots of presence. He has been worked by Dan Wilson, Practical Horsemanship, as Finn has been known to buck. This was successfully worked through with Dan, but due to owners’ health problems, the consistent work hasn’t been able to be followed through. Dan is willing to be contacted about Finn. This friendly horse has been ridden ‘English’ and has just started ‘Western’ but would probably excel in any sphere. His older full brothers are successful in affiliated ODE, Dressage and SJ. Would prefer ‘Intelligent Horsemanship’ type home.

Randi – SOLD
Randi is a gorgeous 15h Arab X 6yr old Bay Gelding. Registered with the Arab Horse Society as a Part Arab.  As a youngster he was shown in hand several times and his sire was leading sire Anglo and Part Bred UK Championships 2003 and 2005. Trained using Practical Horsemanship Methods
