Open Day

We would like to thank everyone who came along to the Open Day at New Leaf Farm this past weekend. The sun was shining, the horses and demonstrations were brilliant and we hope everyone had as good a time as we did!

Our demonstrations were of starting a young horse and loading the reluctant horse, both of which went really well. The unbacked horse accepted its first saddle and rider without the slightest hint of a problem and the loading horse, although sticky to begin with was actively trotting onto the trailer at the end of the session. Dani also did a demonstration on handling the spooky horse and how to desensitize which was brilliant.
